A 28-BORE WHEELOCK HORSE-PISTOL OF MILITARY STYLE, no visible serial number,
mid 17th century probably by Martin Kamerr of Augsberg, 14 1/2in. rounded octagonal barrel marked with a 'M' and 'K' at breech and a stamp of a galloping horse within a shield, the underside of the barrel with Augsberg guild stamp, curved and radiused lock with plain external wheel, plain hammer and automatic pan cover, floral accents and scrolled ends to the exposed springs, bulbous bellied walnut full-stock with swept plain flared grip, domed brass butt-cap, squared iron trigger-guard and under-barrel iron-tipped ramrod

Other Notes: The vendor of this lot informs us that it was purchased along with a stone water-jug and a porch lantern by his Grandfather in 1934 for the sum of £1
