Belgian, circa 1850, with possibly falsely damascened 7 1/2in. barrels, bead fore-sight, fenced nipples, borderline engraved top-tang and back-action locks (right hand hammer missing), walnut half-stock with chequered flared pistol-grip, white-metal butt-cap with shell-shaped central trapdoor, white-metal borderline engraved trigger-guard tang and bow, provision for ramrod (missing), cleaned overall
