A 32-BORE OTTOMAN FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS WITH SILVER KOFTGARI DECORATION, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1750, with two-stage heavily swamped 13in. barrel, the muzzle, sighting plane and flats of the breech profusely covered in silver koftgari arabesques, solid top-tang, curved and radiused lock with floral engraving and false signature, hammer and frizzen engraved en-suite, chequered walnut full-stock profusely carved along the fore-end edges, ramrod channel, top-tang, lockplate and heel-plate, ambidextrous raised cheek-piece inlayed with scrolls of silver wire, further carving to the base of the grip, the end of butt with chequered panels, silver koftgari arabesques to the iron heel-plate, iron saddle-ring and slide to the sideplate, floral engraving to the trigger-guard tang and bow, false ramrod with engraved iron mounts
