A .750 FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT MUSKET, MODEL 'NEW LAND PATTERN BROWN BESS', no visible serial number,
dated for 1813, with 39in. barrel, the East India Co. heart-shaped trademark engraved to the top of barrel (feint), Birmingham proofs, banded breech and solid flared top-tang, borderline engraved lock dated at the tail and engraved with the E.I.C. lion trademark forwards of the hammer, walnut full-stock with brass furniture, fore-end swollen at the ramrod throat and replacement iron ramrod (some repairs and inlets to wood, exposed iron surfaces darkly stained)
