A 12-BORE FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT BLUNDERBUSS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1810, with 12in. plain swamped iron barrel, provision for top-mounted sprung bayonet (removed, tang release catch missing), private proofs, flat bevel-edged rounded stepped-tail lock, roller-bearing to the frizzen spring, engraving to tail, walnut full-stock chequered at the wrist, iron heel-plate and trigger-guard bow, replacement ramrod, exposed iron surfaces darkly stained
