27 1/2in. (70cm) nitro chopperlump barrels, with raised tapered matt ribs, gold-inlaid at the breech ends '1', '2' and '3', tubes engraved 'AUG. LEBEAU-COURALLY. ARMES DE GRAND LUXE A LIEGE', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and true cyl. choke, No.2 right wall at 19, rounded bar actions with removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1', '2' and '3', manual safeties, hand-detachable lockplates, partially gold-washed internals, No.3 retaining gold-washed finish to tumbler pivots, non-selective single triggers, actions, lockplates and furniture finely border engraved with scrolling acanthus designs, the fences fully engraved en suite, gun numbers 1 and 2 with triggerplates signed 'CAPECE. L.', gun number 3 unsigned, bright finish overall, 14 3/8in. well-figured stocks including 7/8in. recoil pads, (gun numbers 1 and 2 leather covered), weight 6lb. 12oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this trio of shotguns were completed as 'Princesse Paola' models with 27 1/2in. barrels and single-triggers in 1974.
