A CASED PAIR OF 30-BORE PERCUSSION POCKET-PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1850, with turn-off 1 3/4in. octagonal barrels (frozen), the top-flats signed 'LONDON', engraved bands to muzzles, slightly rounded scroll engraved central hammer boxlock actions, the left hand sides signed 'JOHN BLISSETT HIGH HOLBORN', sliding safes to the top-tangs, finely chequered walnut bag-shaped butts with engraved silver trapdoor butt-caps, concealed folding triggers and London proofs, both pistols heavily cleaned TOGETHER WITH their original manufacturers mahogany storage case, compartmented and lined in green baize and containing a full compliment of accessories including a scissors ball mould, a fine three-way flask, octagonal barrel-key, and a nipple-key (lock removed from case but present)
