W.1.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, removable striker discs, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, best bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 16in. boldly-figured replacement stock (by the makers), weight 7lb. 2oz., in a leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed on the 4th June, 1973 for the Duke of Northumberland. It was made to match a Holland & Holland gun numbered 15478
