gun no. 06289 with 30in. black powder only barrels, right wall thickness at 18 and with dents, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke;
gun no. 07647 toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with inlaid 'SAFE' plaque, beaded border and stylised acanthus engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish, 14in. replacement stock, weight 6lb. 5oz. (1960 barrels) and 6lb. 10oz. (1964 barrels)
gun no. 06289 with treble-grip action, automatic safety with inlaid 'SAFE' plaque, beaded border and stylised acanthus engraving, some pitting, brushed bright finish, 14in. replacement stock, fore-end with repairs, weight 6lb. 8oz., in a brass-cornered oak and leather case with Lancaster labels (no provision for extra barrels)
