30in. nitro barrels, the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.' and the ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2' with a flash of acanthus scrollwork at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both (No.1) true and imp. cyl. (No.2), toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, Holland & Holland patent semi-selective single triggers, best bold Royal scroll engraving, the undersides with cartouches engraved 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR' and 'PATENT SINGLE TRIGGER', retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish (pins reblued), 14 3/4in. replacement stocks, weight 6lb. 11oz. (both), in their brass-cornered oak and leather double guncase
