manufactured between 1880-1888, with blued 25in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight to the front barrel-band, elevating rear-sight with slider, blued receiver, bolt with straight handle and external hammer, the bolt marked 'E. REMINGTON & SON ILION N.Y.' with two lines of patents to 1877, walnut straight-hand half-stock (cracked and repaired along fore-end and through right hand side nail), iron heel-plate, exposed lifter and full-length magazine tube under the barrel, the whole retaining much, probably original, finish,
