dated for 1882, with 7in. sighted barrel with cannon muzzle, fluted cylinder, solid frame marked 'GEBR MAUSER & CIE, 1880, OBERNDORF' on the left side, smooth walnut grips, butt-cap with regimental marks ''B12 A.2.35' and a lanyard ring, all matching numbers with slight traces of finish in sheltered areas
