probably for January 1912, made in Germany, with blued sighted drop-down 20 1/2in. barrel, nickel-plated large diameter air-chamber , the top stamped with a devil's head, the initials 'M.A.N.' between the horns and stamped below 'ZM' over 'S' within a triangle over '11/8956', pale wood butt-stock chequered at the wrist, nickel-plated furniture including trigger guard cocking lever, smooth pale wood splinter fore-end, the whole retaining most of its original finish
