circa 1795, with plain round 1 1/4in. turn-off barrels brushed bright, false rifling at the muzzles, slab-sided brass frame with borderline and trophy engraving (rubbed), the left side signed 'THOMAS' in an oval, rotating tap with wire lever, central hammer, rainproof pan, sliding safe to the top-tang, slab-sided walnut butt and concealed automatic trigger
