A 7-BORE PERCUSSION LIVE PIGEON GUN, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1845, with 36 3/4in. tapering twist-iron barrel, carved tapering sighting-rib for the first 11 3/4in., squared scroll engraved breech-block, engraved top-tang, borderline and scroll-engraved bar-action lock (hammer screw replaced), reblued hammer, chequered walnut half-stock with iron furniture including spurred trigger-guard tang, fore-end missing horn tip, no provision for ramrod, (some corrosion and loss to detail)
