AN UNUSUAL WEBLEY & SCOTT .177 MKI BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR SLANT-GRIP MKI WITH CRACKLE FINISH', serial no. 50211, circa 1938, with 6 1/2in re-blued barrel, ribbed grip, adjustable rear-sight, black crackle-finish frame and air-chamber (obscuring most of the details) four-pin trigger-unit with adjuster and locking screw, brown chequered bakelite grips
Other Notes: It is believed that this is one of an unspecified number of MKI air-pistols purchased by the Military for training purposes that were subsequently re-finished post-war by Sterling Armaments. This has not been fully confirmed however.
