27in. nitro barrel engraved '.375 MAGNUM. HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.', file-cut sight rib with folding leaf sight marked 50 and 200, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diatal-C 6x32 telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts, Webley & Scott Revolver & Arms Co., and T.W. Webley patent action, patent no. 6365 of 15th March 1902, automatic tang safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, tang tapped for a rear-sight, action with border engraving and centrally engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND', blued finish, 14 3/4in. figured pistolgrip stock (small crack at hand) with colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), sling eyes and including 3/4in. rubber recoil pad, weight 9lb. 12oz.

Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this rifle was completed in 1925 for a 'Harper'.
