A BOXED .22 (L/R) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'PP', serial no. 884146,
pre war, with blued 3 3/4in. barrel, blued sighted slide with the Zella-Mehlis address and marked 'WALTHER'S PATENT', blued frame, side magazine release, black bakelite chequered grips and black bakelite finger extension to magazine, much original finish remaining; COMPLETE WITH its manufacturers card carton finished in wood-effect paper with a representation of the pistol embossed in gold together with the Walther logo banner and model designation, the interior containing the pistol and an embossed 'WALTHER ' period aluminium tin for cleaning items with a depiction of the Zella-Mehlis factory on the lid, together with a cleaning rod.
