circa 1740, with swamped two-stage iron barrel, London proofs and moulded bands at breech, borderline engraved radiused lock with pointed tail signed 'T. GREEN' forwards of the hammer, unbridled frizzen, root walnut full-stock (some age cracks) with carved border around the top-tang and ramrod channel, iron furniture including long-eared butt-cap, serpentine sideplate in the form of an acanthus spray, rococo escutcheon to wrist initialled 'W.R.', turned thimbles and horn tipped ramrod
