dated for 1988, Birmingham proofed for 8oz. black powder blank, competently home produced, with steel-lined black painted cast 51in. barrel including cascabel (corroded internally), lanyard operated percussion igniter fitted at breech-end, Confederate grey painted wood carriage, the left side bearing a plaque engraved 'WHISTLING DICK, MADE BY CPT C. JACKSON & C.C. 1988', and fitted with multi-spoke 53 1/2in wooden wheels with iron tyres
