A .690 FLINTLOCK CONTINENTAL HORSE-PISTOL SIGNED 'ANDRE FRECONNET'?, no visible serial number,
date stamped for 1813, with iron octagonal to round 12 1/2in. barrel, solid top-tang, plain step-tailed lock with signature surmounted by a crown over 'S.E.', walnut half-stock with bag-shaped butt (some filled worm), heavy brass furniture including beaked butt-cap, pillared trigger guard bow and slash-cut barrel-band joined to the sideplate, iron under-barrel ramrod (missing support), iron surfaces cleaned
