Other Notes: In 1996, the Royal Mint, on behalf of Fiji released this very limited issue (just 999) of these 'Lady of the Century' $50 fifty dollar silver proof coins, struck in solid fine .999 Silver and weighing one kilo. They are struck to proof quality and are legal tender.
The portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is by Raphael Maklouf, the portrayal of the Queen Mother and the Queen by David Cornell.
