21 5/8in. octagonal nitro barrel, raised rib finely engraved with scrolling acanthus designs, central banner engraved in script 'Herbert Streitmeier - St Paul', open sights engraved to match and with crosshatch front with gold inlaid triangular sighting aid, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with further scroll designs, the muzzle end with panels of scrollwork and crosshatched muzzle face, the breech end with further scrolls and mounted with a K. Kahles Helia Super 39S2 telescopic sight in scroll engraved quickly-detachable mounts, rounded bar action with carved percussion fence, rebounding back-action lock with high spurred carved hammer, set triggers, the whole engraved with extremely fine scrolling acanthus and floral bouquets, the triggerplate signed 'Deflorian', retaining virtually full original colour-hardened finish, 14 5/8in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release lever and sculpted horn finial, weight 7lb.
