* A 54-BORE PRE-CHARGED PNEUMATIC AIR-CANE, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1880, with 20in. smoothbore sighted barrel-section cocking by a key, the muzzle-cap unscrewing to withdraw the ramrod (replaced with a later smoothbore barrel of approximately .25 calibre), fore-sight replaced with a screw, 17 1/2in. air-reservoir section including horn walking-stick type handle, renewed burr walnut effect painted finish to outside of body, complete with a pump finished in the same painted effect, two cocking keys, a period ball mould and wad punch, all contained in a later wood case compartmented and lined in green baize with reproduction 'Improved English Air Cane' label inside lid
