circa 1880, with round 2 3/8in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, notch rear-sight to rear of top-strap, the top-strap signed 'FOREHAND & WADSWORTH, DOUBLE ACTION No.32, WORCESTER MASS', solid frame with central hammer and guarded trigger, fluted cylinder and smooth walnut birdshead grips, the whole retaining much original nickel-plated finish, in a period leather holster (stitching undone)
