dated for 1875, with two-stage 4 1/2in. barrel, solid iron frame with field-strippable side-plate, stepped cylinder, coarsely chequered walnut grip (the lanyard ring at heel removed), guarded trigger and ejector rod mounted to right side of barrel, brushed bright finish
