Belgian circa 1865 and of Lefaucheux type, with blued 5in. barrel, pillar fore-sight, octagonal breech, side mounted plunge ejector, plain blued cylinder with engraved band to leading edge and external ratchet indexing, fully engraved blued open iron frame, florally carved flared ebony grips with engraved back and front straps, engraved pommel-cap with lanyard ring and guarded trigger, much finish remaining, together with a period patent leather holster (finish distressed, main seam unstitched)
