circa 1885, with nickel-plated 2 3/4in. barrel, raised sighting-rib signed by the maker and with patents to 1883, fluted cylinder, plated frame marked '.38 CAL', folding spur on hammer, skull-cracker pommel, guarded trigger and chequered hard rubber grips, some minor loss to plated finish but retaining all colour
