A SCARCE .32 RIMFIRE SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'S&W TYPE' BELT-REVOLVER', serial no. 67,
circa 1861 and built along similar lines to a Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 but with a solid frame, featuring a 6in. octagonal barrel, the left side marked 'E.A. PRESCOTT, WORCESTER MASS.' over 'PAT'D OCT 2 1860', raised sighting rib with applied crescent fore-sight, solid brass frame with external hammer and sheath trigger, smooth flared walnut grips, minimal traces of finish in sheltered areas
