circa 1872, with 7in. barrel, raised sighting rib signed by the maker and with patent dates to 1869, break-open frame, fluted cylinder, spurred trigger-guard, smooth walnut grips with later amateur mother of pearl enhancements, the heel of frame marked 'SH' within a diamond shaped border, lanyard swivel removed
