* A .32 RIMFIRE SEVEN-SHOT SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'TRANTER'S PATENT', serial no. 5,
circa 1863 and almost certainly manufactured by William Tranter, with blued semi octagonal 4 1/4in. barrel, Birmingham proofs, dove-tailed fore-sight blade, standing notch rear-sight to rear of top-strap, engraved bronze frame (re-gilded in places), wingnut cylinder arbor release, plain re-blued cylinder, spur-trigger, chequered walnut grips, the ejector rod articulating on the front of frame and held in position by the closed loading gate
