circa 1887, with 5 1/2in. ribbed octagonal barrel, the top signed 'P. WEBLEY & SON, BIRMINGHAM', crescent fore-sight, sighting notch to the rear of top-strap, fluted cylinder with quick release by a thumb-wheel, twin 'Pryse-action' locking bars, plain frame, chequered walnut one-piece grip and lanyard ring at heel, the whole retaining a good amount of original nickel-plated finish (extreme top of hammer cracked)
