A 20-BORE FLINTLOCK HORSE-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
probably Italian circa 1750, with shortened 10in. iron barrel, flat sighting plane, later embossed white-metal North African barrel-band, dove-tail top-tang, curved and radiused unbridled lock marked with a maker's stamp at tail, walnut full-stock carved around the furniture, brass mounts (sideplate replaced) and iron ramrod with carved twist to the tip
