A RARE 60-BORE PERCUSSION TAP-LOADING SINGLE-SHOT PARK-RIFLE, no visible serial number,
circa 1840, with triple-staged 29in. damascus barrel, rotating loading tap at breech engraved with a sunburst around the loading aperture, borderline and scroll engraved back-action lock signed 'MAPPLEBECK & LOWE', walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture, white metal barrel key escutcheons and nose-cap, brass tipped under-barrel ramrod
