circa 1845, with 4in. moulded barrel group, the moulded flutes variously marked 'THURBER', 'WORCESTER', 'PATENTED', '1827', & 'CAST STEEL', scroll engraved nickel-plated nipple-guard, scroll engraved rounded boxlock action with guarded trigger and bar hammer, the frame fitted with smooth walnut grips, much plated finish remaining to action, barrels brushed bright
