circa 1830, with iron 9in. barrel, solid top-tang, borderline engraved lock stamped with a crown over 'WR' device below the pan, Board of Ordnance marked walnut full-stock, heavy brass furniture including recumbent 'S' shaped sideplate, long iron belt-hook and brass-tipped fore-end with captive iron ramrod, strong traces of probable original finish
