circa 1795, with round tapering 4in. barrel, flat sighting plane with bead fore-sight, solid top-tang, bevel edged stepped tail plain lock signed 'MEREDITH, roller to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock with bag-shaped butt (losses to fore-end wood) and provision for under-barrel ramrod (missing)
