possibly Dutch, circa 1740, with triple-staged 12in. barrel banded at each intersection and the muzzle, fluted breech-section, solid top-tang, slightly curved and radiused long narrow lock with borderline and scroll engraving and signed 'DESELLIER' below the pan, bridleless frizzen, walnut full-stock lightly carved around the ramrod channel and top-tang, iron furniture including long spurred butt-cap, complex pierced escutcheon at wrist and pierced sideplate, turned ramrod thimbles and probable replacement ramrod
