A GOOD 9.4mm (DUTCH ORDNANCE) SERVICE-REVOLVER SIGNED 'BREVET NAGANT', MODEL 'NAGANT TYPE', serial no. 149,
circa 1885, with octagonal 6 1/4in. barrel, round breech, block and blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, stepped cylinder, solid iron frame, double action mechanism and chequered walnut grip with lanyard ring at heel, much original but faded blued finish
