AN 11.53mm (ALBINI-BRAENDLIN) BREECH-LOADING SERVICE-RIFLE, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'ALBINI BRAENDLIN', serial no. 4832, Belgian, dated for 1868, with 34 3/4in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, missing ladder rear-sight, front hinged trap-door action (external lock missing hammer), plain walnut full-stock with iron furniture, two barrel-bands, iron nose-cap with throat for iron clearing rod (present) and bayonet lug to underside of muzzle, brushed bright finish throughout
