27in. nitro reproved barrels (loose), smoothbored from a rifle calibre, the tubes engraved 'COGSWELL & HARRISON. 142 NEW BOND ST. LONDON.' and 'HENRY'S PATENT. A&T.' on the underside, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, Jones patent rotary-underlever, carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks, border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock including cheekpiece and steel buttplate, splinter fore-end with horn finial and cross-pin release, weight 5lb. 15oz.
