SCHURK, MUNICH 8.15x46R SINGLE-SHOT TARGET-RIFLE, MODEL 'MARTINI TYPE', no visible serial number, circa 1925, with 31 3/8in. blued octagonal barrel with later protected fore-sight, matted integral rail to the top flat and signed 'A. SCHURK, MUNCHEN', plain slab-sided receiver (fair amount of faded colour), hand-detachable hinge pin, double set triggers, later tang-mounted pillar sight, scrolled underlever triggerguard with finger spur, walnut Tyrolean butt-stock with chequered side panel and loose foliate carving (some filled worm), raised moulded cheek-piece and thumb-rest, Swiss-style iron heel-plate and chequered walnut schnabel fore-end (cracked at tip)
