A .700 FLINTLOCK HOLSTER-PISTOL OF SERVICE STYLE, no visible serial number,
circa 1797, with round 9in. iron barrel, solid engraved top-tang, flat, slightly curved lock signed 'T. HARDING', bevel edges and stepped and pointed tail, sliding safe behind the swan-necked cock, plain walnut full-stock with bag-shaped butt, brass furniture including engraved trigger-guard bow and recumbent 'S' shaped side-plate, twin escutcheonless barrel-keys and brass tipped wood ramrod (some working repairs to butt and age related cracks)
