30in. nitro reproved fine damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS. 170 NEW BOND ST. LONDON.' and '2', the breech end with 'HIGHEST QUALITY', 2 1/2in. chambers, fixed choke inserts for approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, Anson & Deeley patent treble-grip action, patent use number 12023 and with Westley Richards patent toplever, Deeley patent ejectors, patent use number 3015, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name in scrolling banners, the underside incorporating bead and ribbonwork and two shell motifs, the triggerguard with a setter on point, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 5/8in. highly-figured semi-pistolgrip stock with chequered side panels and including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, the pistolgrip with a domed circular gold escutcheon bearing a crest with a demi-Griffin segreant and a ducal coronet above the initials T.R. (possible the Rowles crest), fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release and horn finial, weight 7lb. 1oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
