circa 1865, with octagonal 8in. barrel cleaned of finish and scrubbed of address (traces legible), highly polished solid frame with plain cylinder, brass trigger-guard bow, hinged under-barrel rammer and probable South American market antique ivory grips relief carved with a horses head bearing glass inset eyes on the left and a goats head sporting similar eyes on the right, the heel chequered and re-numbered
