Product Details

BSA, BIRMINGHAM
A SCARCE .177 UNDER-LEVER AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'CLUB', serial no. EE813,
for 1959, with blued 18in. barrel, ramp fore-sight retaining tunnel protector, folding leaf rear-sight, automatic loading tap at breech, plain 9 1/2in. air-chamber with four separate rail slots, the top of cylinder etched 'BSA CLUB' the 'BSA' part with an arrow trademark (bright and clear), black stove enamelled trigger unit, plain walnut half-stock with ribbed heel and broad finger-grooves to fore-end, concealed under-lever, some light moth-nipping to enamel otherwise appearing very little used

Other Notes: This example is an interesting transitional between the original short-stroke Club and the Airsporter in that by the serial no. EE813, the rifles using the full length air chamber of the Airsporter should be etched 'CLUB MKII' or even 'AIRSPORTER'. This gun also has the one-piece walnut butt as opposed to the laminated three-piece examples found on earlier guns
