probably Swiss market circa 1885, with round 33in. barrel, octagonal breech, block and dove-tailed blade fore-sight, elevating tangent rear-sight, slab-sided receiver with tilting feed-ramp, walnut butt-stock with Swiss style iron heel-plate, complex finger-spurred trigger-guard forming the under-lever, double set triggers and walnut three-quarter length fore-end with twin barrel-keys, stirrup swivels and iron under-barrel clearing rod
