A SILVER-HILTED SMALL-SWORD, UNSIGNED,
hallmarks obscured but probably London 1717, with narrow 32in. concave triangular cross-section blade engraved with scrolls and panels of scrolls near the hilt, cast and pierced symmetrical guard with internal pedestal mount, large pas-de-ane, single pierced hollow quillion and moulded 'D' shaped knuckle-bow with pierced hollow central swelling, pierced hollow bulbous pommel and grip bound with alternating silver ribbon and twisted wire bands (some loose), no scabbard, complete with a collection medallion numbered '27'
