A 9mm (PARA) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'P08 LUGER', serial no. 6132, WITH HOLSTER AND SPARE MATCHING MAGAZINE,
dated for 1942, with blued 4in. barrel, fixed sights, 'MAUSER' trademark to the toggle-link, blued frame and ancillaries, chequered walnut grips and matching number alloy based magazine, complete with a 1939 dated black leather holster (one belt loop gone), loading tool and further matching number magazine and an unassociated black leather waistbelt
Provenance: An old O.H.M.S. label attached to this pistols states it was the property (and one assumes war booty) of Squadron Leader Attwood. It has been consigned by his direct descendant
