circa 1860, with octagonal3 3/8in. barrel, plain cylinder, open frame, folding trigger and smooth flared walnut grip, overall length of revolver 7 3/4in. , action at fault, together with a possibly correct walnut case lined and compartmented in red baize (faded to caramel) and containing a turnscrew
